Short term therapy (Trauma-Focused CBT)
Family support for trauma related behaviors
Most of our therapy and group services are offered by pre-licensed, masters-level clinical trainees under the supervision of doctoral level psychologists. Some services - where indicated - may be offered by doctoral level psychologists.
Our clinicians and supervisors are diverse in many ways and strive to be culturally sensitive to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, gender orientation, disability, religion, military standing and other human differences.
Our Center serves the Champaign-Urbana-Savoy community and surrounding area. Our clients come from all walks of life and include adults and adolescents from the community, as well as UIUC students, faculty and staff.
Fees for services provided by pre-licensed clinicians are very affordable. We use a generous sliding scale that depends on family size and income. No one is turned away for inability to pay.
We can only accept major insurance carriers (Health alliance, BC/BS, Health Link, CPHP, UIUC Student Insurance) for services provided by our licensed clinical psychologists.
Students looking for the UIUC Counseling Center can call 217-333-3704 or go to 610 E. John St. in Champaign (6th and John).
